The night before seeing the movie First Man I figured it would be a good idea to go take a look at the moon. I had already found the Apollo 11 landing site once before, but I figured I'd try again and see if I could do it better. I stacked a bunch of images, but had to adjust the brightness and contrast on a lot of the landing site images to get the software to handle the image aligning nicely.

I actually think my last attempt was a bit clearer, but that just means I need to keep experimenting.

The photo stitch of the entire moon is always a pleasure.

But I also tried to see how much I could zoom in on some of the mountains and craters on the southern tip. The images are a bit fuzzy, but I like it.
