Clearest Jupiter Yet
/Tonight I took out my telescope a bit later in hopes that getting Jupiter higher in the sky would help. I collimated my telescope and tried my 5x barlow lens. I was able to get about 5000 frames in 3 minutes. I'm thrilled with the results, it's the most cloud detail I've ever achieved. A high look angle and fast shutter really makes magic!
I stacked the best 50% of frames in autostakkert and did wavelet sharpening in Siril. Registax kept giving me artifacts on such a large image.
