Zooming In Further Doesn't Really Work Better
/I have a barlow lens which will double the magnification of whatever other lens you attach to it. My thought was that if I could make Saturn slightly bigger maybe I could stack the image enough to get some extra detail out of it. I was wrong. Making Saturn bigger in the view also makes it dimmer, and harder to photograph. The barlow lens is also another piece of glass in-between the camera and the sky, so imperfections start to compound on one another.
I tried to fix it in post processing, but obviously the computer hated even trying. It's MAYBE a tiny bit sharper, but it's grainy, and the ugly hiccup in the middle of the planet.
