A Quick Space Station Flyby
/This want’t the image I was expecting to capture tonight but I'm pleased with it!
I was getting set up to photograph some geostationary satellites when I realized the space station was about to go over, so why not dial in my settings in that? I did my best to see where the station would fly over, but my guess was a little off, though the image still worked thankfully.
This was a series of 20 second exposures at f/11 and 3400 ISO.
I combined the individual frames in StarStax to make one continuous streak. I had to manually fill in some gaps in the streak from the brief period between images but that wasn't very difficult, and I don't think noticeable. Other color adjustments in darktable.
Unfortunately when it was time to take my geostationary satellite photo the clouds had rolled in. I'll try that one tomorrow!
