Saturn

Tonight was my first look at Saturn this year, though unfortunately the atmosphere was terrible. The image was so wobbly half the time you couldn't tell Saturn even had rings!

With a 3x Barlow, 450 gain and 17ms shutter speed I took a few thousand frames and stacked the top 10%.

Saturn is very low in the sky so I don't expect much detail, but the rings are also getting close to being edge on to Earth. Either way, it's not a great time to see Saturn, though I'm surprised this came out at all.
